Becoming a Sponsor
There are many ways support the
students of Highbridge Voices - volunteering as an academic tutor,
hosting concerts, facilitating student activities, and of course,
donating.
Academic Tutors
We welcome volunteers with experience
tutoring in various math, science, and English subjects to work with our
students one-on-one and in small groups. Tutoring sessions take place at
our facility at regularly scheduled times. Bringing a fresh perspective
to the academic work of a Highbridge Voices member can be fun and
rewarding and is the perfect way for volunteers to make an immediate
impact on Highbridge Voices students. By spending time with one of our
students, volunteers have the opportunity not only to help students with
their school work, but also to explain how this information relates to
other problems or topics that the children are working on in school.
Come spend an afternoon with a student and feel the rewards of academic
mentoring.
Hosting Concerts
Highbridge Voices regularly performs
at events facilitated by friends of the organization. This offers
companies an opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to Highbridge
Voices, while also benefiting from a performance at a special event or
company party. As the holiday season approaches, Highbridge Voices
is busily preparing for their upcoming holiday events, many of which are
at corporations in the New York area. With the ability to offer
both secular and sacred holiday selections and a host of other numbers,
Highbridge Voices can be the perfect choice to offer something special
to your company this winter.
Student Activities
Do you have an extra pair of tickets
to a show or event in New York City? Would you like to host an afternoon
softball game and barbeque? Maybe a career day at your
company? Activities such as these are great ways to provide experiences
for small groups of students from Highbridge Voices. In the past
year alone, Highbridge Voices students have had a terrific time watching
the Yankees play at the
Stadium, visiting corporations in midtown, hiking in New York
State parks, and enjoying at a pool party in Westchester. Give the
give of an experience that can change a child’s life today.
