FUNDRAISING CONCERT JUNE 19th – ST JEAN’S THEATER:
Highbridge Voices (HBV), celebrating 26 years of instructing and presenting the most promising minority youth choral singers from Highbridge (Bronx), is excited to present its annual benefit on “Juneteenth” at 7 pm at the Theatre at St.Jeans (76th at Lexington Avenue, Manhattan). Led by HBV Music Director, Joseph Hudson, and the Sacred Heart School Music Director, Michelle Trinidad, the benefit will honor Abigail Akano, Principal of Sacred
Heart School (Bronx) for her extraordinary educational contribution to Highbridge, and feature three-time Grammy Award-winning & Saturday Night Live saxophonist, Ron Blake. Proceeds will provide support for HBV programs and HBV musical instruction throughout the Highbridge community. The concert will be preceded by a cocktail party at 5:30 PM.
For two and a half decades, Highbridge Voices has illustrated the power of our music and social programs in forwarding the paths and future of our children. Now more than ever, we need your assistance to help us be the crucial link within our community and build a brighter future for our youth.
